Summer is over and Autumn is finally here, but don’t let the start of this season be an excuse and slide into not healthy ways. So how about an easy detox water that you can consume and that it will make you feel light and healthy? This one couldn’t be easier, all you need is mint leaves, cucumber, lemon and ginger.
- 1 lemon
- 1 medium size cucumber
- 10 mint leaves
- 2 tablespoons of grated ginger
- 1/2 gallon of cold water
Make an infusion with the mint leaves using some of the 1/2 gallon of water. When it starts to boil, turn it off and let it seat, covered, for about 5 minutes or more. Squeeze the lemon, cut the cucumber that must be already clean and peeled (if you prefer it this way) and finally mix the all of the above, not forgetting the mint infusion. Add the rest of the water and the ginger, mix it really well and it’s ready. Super easy, right?
You can drink it throughout the day instead of soft drinks, juices or smoothies, since these have tons of sugar.
