In my journey to live a happier and more balanced life I came to know Ho’oponopono. After reading about the Hawaiian therapist who cured an entire ward of criminally insane patients, without ever meeting any of them, I got very curious. The therapist was Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len, creator of the updated Ho’oponopono version called Self I-Dentity Through Ho’oponopono (SITH)
But what is Ho’oponopono? It is basically the power to heal ourselves by reconnecting to our pure zero state of love and accepting that we are responsible for every single thing that happens in our lives. Everything! When we accept all of our responsibilities and do what Dr. Len calls “cleaning”, we can align our vibration to the divine and have true inspirations, instead of simply relying on our limited beliefs generated from old memories.
For us it means a way to clean our bodies and mind from those negative memories and feelings that can only trap us and keep us stuck, blocking the universe from reaching our most pure state, which is the zero. When we are at “zero” we allow the divine in to transform and inspire us.
How will this help me?
Once you start to feel responsible for your life you’ll feel less of that feeling of hopelessness. You’re not an mere spectator in you own life. You can now control it. Who doesn’t want to feel that, right?
How do I apply this to my life
Following the Self I-Dentity Through Ho’oponopono (SITH) by Dr. Lens, we start by understanding that everything that happens in our lives is within us. We’re responsible for how we act, think, behave and also all the situations we go through in life, that we tend to think is other’s responsibilities. We can change everything by continuously cleaning using Repentance, Forgiveness, Gratitude and Love. It sounds difficult, but it’s not, I promise.
Repentance – I’M SORRY
“I’m sorry.” You want to change. You’re ready to accept the responsibility for what you cause and you no longer want to keep doing this.
Forgiveness – PLEASE FORGIVE ME
“Please forgive me and allow me to forgive myself so I can be free.” You want to release this to the world. You’re ready to grow and no longer blame you or others for this.
Gratitude – THANK YOU
“Thank you.” Be thankful for everything you are and everything you have. Be thankful for doing your best.
Love – I LOVE YOU
Keep saying “I love you” all the time. Love yourself, your life and everything that crosses your path. The water you drink, the house you live, the food you eat, your family, your body, your children. Say it and meant it. There’s nothing more powerful in the Universe than Love.
I’m sorry. Please Forgive me. Thank You. I Love You. Say it all the time. The more you say it, the more cleaning you’re doing.
